Pilgrims 2

An impressionistic painting in Acrylics of Desert people facing the harshness of their environment.

This is a 20" x 16" portrait in acrylics of American Evangelist Billy Graham. In this portrait I am attempting to capture some of the man's intense character and personality, through the painted medium. It has been said that Billy has preached in person to more people around the world than anyone who has ever lived. He is indeed worthy of the title 'America's Finest', which is a current ongoing project with English artist and illustrator Rob Kirbyson. We will continue with further American figures in the project, both of us painting a portrait of the chosen subject in our own styles.

Wedding Portrait

A painting in acrylic of a friends wedding day. Painted from a photograph on a 30" x 24" canvas. Various aspects of the photograph, such as the backround, had to be altered to make the painting balance as a whole.

Evel Knievel

An acrylic portrait of Evel Knievel in his prime. This was from the 70's era when he was a household name throughout the world. This is the third painting in the series 'America's Finest' which is a joint project with English illustrator and artist Rob Kirbyson.
