Expressive semi-abstract still life painting of a cheese plant in a rustic terracotta pot. Imposing figurative leaves and winding stalks burst from the pot across the canvas. The cheese plant features as an artistic study in most college life drawing classes. After discovering some old pastel sketches Andrea re-created this luscious plant in green, silver, blue, brown and black oils with mixed media and gold leaf on deep edge box canvas.
