An abstract painting in acrylic. It is a representation of the theory that not everything in life is black and white.The black and grey stripes are painted with acrylic, the white stripe was painted with emulsion, then a layer of acrylic was painted over that. The middle section, which has a lovely marble-effect to it, was painted using metallic black and metallic golden lilac mixed together on the canvas with a palette knife.

Rich Green Landscape
An abstract painting of a rich green landscape. Painted in acrylic, each segment has textured underlayers which have all been overpainted using a lime green mix to bring all the colours together. Phthalo green, emerald green and viridian hue are also present. Painted completely with a palette knife, with various cross-strokes and scrapings to create the texture. The lines in gold were painted straight from the tube with a metallic acrylic paint. The painting is continued around the edges.
