Forget-Me-Not

30 x 30 inches. Acrylic on a deep edge box canvas. One of my new "large" range of canvases. If you'd like to commission a smaller version of this painting please get in touch. Fresh contemporary painting of forget-me-nots. The pinky purple flowers are set off against an abstract textured background of coffee, chocolatey swirls. The paint has been built up in layers to provide depth to this painting and a fresh modern feel.

Elements in Green, Too

Abstract acrylic painting using a palette knife, my fingers and thumb. Patterns that I had in mind when I began these paintings were inspired by nature - leaves, twigs, drops of rain. This painting is now owned by Rob Kirbyson, founder of Rogue Gene Collective.

Not Everything is Black and White

An abstract painting in acrylic. It is a representation of the theory that not everything in life is black and white.The black and grey stripes are painted with acrylic, the white stripe was painted with emulsion, then a layer of acrylic was painted over that. The middle section, which has a lovely marble-effect to it, was painted using metallic black and metallic golden lilac mixed together on the canvas with a palette knife. This painting is now owned by Rogue Gene Founder, artist Rob Kirbyson.

Abstract Blue Expression

Abstract acrylic painting on two box framed canvases. A subtle variation in tone from top to bottom which helps to create depth to the painting. Each canvas measures 8 x 8 inches. Rich Green Landscape

An abstract painting of a rich green landscape. Painted in acrylic, each segment has textured underlayers which have all been overpainted using a lime green mix to bring all the colours together. Phthalo green, emerald green and viridian hue are also present. Painted completely with a palette knife, with various cross-strokes and scrapings to create the texture. The lines in gold were painted straight from the tube with a metallic acrylic paint. The painting is continued around the edges.
