Biography

Aitch ( Helen Davison) is mainly self-taught, having discovered an ability for painting fairly recently in her creative existence. Her passion for bright colours and precise shapes is apparent in a lot of her abstract work. Aitch is an acrylic abstract artist primarily, although she also likes to use texture in a lot of her work, often experimenting with various techniques in order to obtain the desired effect.

A lot of Aitch's work is instinctive - she does not always have a pre-determined painting in mind when she starts, as she likes to rely on her instincts for inspiration.

Aitch is an Associate member of East Riding Artists, East Yorkshire.

She is also a regular exhibitor at the Original Art Exhibitions held monthly at the Memorial Hall, Addingham, West Yorkshire.
